Here in southwestern Montana the rivers are cresting. But fly fishing is going on in a big way. The Boulder, Stillwater, lower Madison, feeder streams, Bighorn... wow.

And meanwhile we're in the midst of launching Insider Fly Fishing, our private Member site. It's BIG, which makes sense. After all, there are 12-20 million fly fishers in North America alone, so taking extra time only makes sense. At least, that's what we keep saying to ourselves...

Our private Member's-only Web site will be for all of us who love fly fishing, and support clean water fisheries worldwide.

There will be lots to do, so you can relax, pull up a chair and stay for awhile. Our partnership network of Insiders and PROs now stretches around the globe from Alaska to Chile, from Kamchatka to the South Island of New Zealand and beyond... from Bozeman to Hawaii, Iceland to Patagonia, Tahiti to Tierra del Fuego... we will ALL be here.

The onFlyFishing Directory brings conservation-minded fly fishers together with fly fishing professionals. Our up-to-the-minute resource site serves beginners to experts, men, women, young people and PROs of all backgrounds throughout North America and around the globe. Our goals are simple:

1. To heal people and fisheries through participation in fly fishing, as well as exploring and enjoying the surrounding environment and communities


2. To Take a Stand as we share, protect and pass on the healing powers of fly fishing, thriving fisheries and the greatness of the outdoors


3. To help key fly fishing and destination travel industry professionals who genuinely value the health of their fisheries and home waters, as we guide them to utilize the WWW and Internet to communicate and build their network and business online


4. To strongly, actively support the conservation, development and enhancement of fly fishing waters, watersheds and surrounding communities throughout North America and worldwide

We share these fundamental goals with Casting for Recovery (CFR), the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF), the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), Reel Recovery, Sierra Club, Trout Unlimited (TU) and many millions of dedicated fly fishers, conservationists and lovers of the outdoors.
